Boxing Day Textures
As regular visitors to Dark Pines Photo know I have developed a series of textures. I am a bit addicted to them. Over time I have created these textures from scans, photographs, and a few freebie textures and texture templates. So in the spirit of the season here are a few sample textures that I am sharing with you. There is no Boxing Day pepper spray or high elbowing required. If you choose to use any of the texture images in this post just remember to provide source credit and let us all see what you have accomplished using them. A Merry & A Happy to All !
( If there are any questions/problems or wonderful epiphanies, please contact me. )
These first two are old paper/book page textures that work as a mattes or background layers.
These three textures can work as aging or antique effect on appropriately prepared images. (See tutorial page for ideas.)
The next two are blends of scanned plastic drips and aged paper textures. They work for out of the box creative effects.
This last art texture was created using a macro shot of a leaf in combination with a flood fill leaf pattern and an old paper texture.

Happy New Year and Merry Christmas dear Joseph, Thank you, with my love, nia
