Is “A Child’s Garden of Verse” still in print, I wonder. I think so. I believe I bought a copy for Kelli. Well, that was forty years ago! 🙂

The battered musty loose paged copy in the image has a copy date of 1902. I will have to take more shots and perhaps post them on the Media Literacy blog. Amazon has an audio copy for sale and it is available from Chapters-Indigo as a trade paperback. Also available as a free Ebook at gutenberg.org – http://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/136/pg136.html .
LibriVox has a free audio version – the young lady doing the reading is Very Very earnest ; some people will have tears in their eyes listening. 🙂

Thank you, Joseph. I will investigate the links. I think I would really like the LibriVox reading!

Wonderful. I love the concept of a visual poem. A very striking post!

Thanks. The concept grew out of my Flying for Surreal post. May experiment more with the form. 🙂

This set reminds me of “The Spiderwick Chronicles” for some reason. Very cool.

Thanks. I can see how the association could arise. 🙂
