What if Wednesday: Window Shopping – The Sky is The Limit

Window Shopping in The Sky

As we approach “the shopping season”, we all want our buying limit to be the sky, ……. or so the marketers & ad campaign tell us. What if it were true ?

The images were taken at the end of October in Elliot Lake using a Nokia Lumia 1020 (great camera, I will be smart enough to use the phone eventually). Processing was done with Paint Shop Pro X4 & following plug-ins, Redfield, OptikVerve – VirtualPhotographer, and Nik – Color Efex Pro3.

  1. I love the reflections. They are so sharp and pretty! Happy Thanksgiving! Or Santa Parade Day or any day for that matter… 🙂

Many thanks George. We have our National Turkey Day earlier in the fall – no snow storms to disrupt travel. 😀
Stay warm in the comforting glow of your family. 🙂

  2. That first one knocks your socks off with the statement, As we approach “the shopping season”, we all want our buying limit to be the sky”. Very impressive.

Thanks very much. I was recently reconsidering the images, when I made the connection to whole shopping frenzy. I understand how Americans see Thanksgiving as the lead in to the Christmas season, but the way it has become a driving engine in the economy is absurd. Santa is here lets shop till we drop !
