Beautiful framing for the last day of 2013. It has been fun and educational to follow your blog through the year and I look forward to more in 2014. Health and happiness to you and your family.

Many thanks. Best wishes for you & your family in the coming year. As the snow squeaks & cracks in the -28 Celsius temps outside, I will think of you strolling with Kola not-a-bear in the exotic eucalyptus forest. 😀

Of cats and men?

Quite possible. There were a variety of prints. 🙂
We have been having mild winters the last couple of years and the stray cats have survived the winters. Not sure how they will do it this year. Our cold snap this year is more in keeping with what we used to have. The amount of snow/precipitation is still below normal.

I guess that means that you still have a couple of feet of snow?

Yes, but to keep it in perspective, one extreme season at our previous home, the snow drifted up along the side of the house and I was shovelling our way out. 😀
It was once typical that the the snow heaps at the side of the road would get to be as tall or taller than the vehicles. The town would have to cut and haul away the snow banks in February. 🙂
