Antique Impressions: Winter Memories

Winter Memories

Winter Memory Mystery 1MtHKR

Winter has relented – the cold snap abates. Our vehicles are no longer frozen blocks and their block heaters have ceased to whimper. However, with somewhat milder moist air comes another dump of snow and a wind to creatively place and shape it.

Jan3-2014 Winter Blows - Antique Mat

The last image is the most current. Took it late this evening from the front doorway.  It is called January 3 2014: Winter Blows. My ironic Canadian soul added a touch; the mat frame was created by incorporating a bright yellow flower from a past summer garden.

You’ve excelled yourself here with all these magical frames! Thank you for the explanation of the last one, after admiring it for a while I then read the way you made it – so simple/not simple.
I know you make your own frames but I have now upgraded from Elements to Photoshop and can’t find frames in amongst all their stuff. You did tell me how to find it in Elements early last year, do you know where they are in PS?

Thanks very much. I am not sure about the frames in PS – they should be in effects.
