Antique Impressions: Memory of Winter

Memory of Winter1MT

Memory of Winter 2MT

A few memories of winter from December here in Elliot Lake Ontario. I went with tonal and muted colours for these pieces. The antique & textured text mats blended with the over all mood. Winter is in the past, …….. and still hanging around.

  1. These make you feel nostalgic about winter, something I don’t think many of us are. Hmmm, tricky one.

Nothing like being conflicted about one of our National Inflictions, eh. 😀

Thanks. Stay at home snow-birds have to work with what we got. 😀

I don’t think I’d go out all winter – except for snow photos – I’d buy up big in the food line and hibernate rather than drive in all that snow. I still can’t get my head around people living and working in such a cold climate. The images show me a side of snow that I don’t like 🙂

One grows accustomed to an assortment of experiences. In someways dealing with winter & snow is similar to dealing with the sands of a drier clime. My next post is of our street. 🙂
