      • I’m glad December and January are over, Joseph, as I am every year. I hope you’re doing well too, I remember that you’re not too keen on the so called Festive Season either.

I am coming out of the winter tunnel. Unfortunately , the narrowest point is during the festive season. Sometimes it is an advantage, sometimes not. 🙂
Right now my Media Literacy Radar is pinging incessantly from all the “not political” Olympics coverage. Trying to avoid it is like trying to keep your feet clean while doing Swan Lake in the cow field. 😀
In regards to your, no problem. Most recent example of said/sad work can be found on this Monday’s post ( a father & son comparison ).

      • The narrowest point being the festive season – I totally get that.
As for the Olympics – turn off the tv. And the radio. And give the newspapers a miss for a while. I mean it! 🙂

  2. Joseph, I decided some time ago not to take any of that stuff seriously. Not to take anything too seriously. I finally figured out that what I think or don’t think, rave about or don’t rave about, get all worked up about or don’t, makes absolutely zero difference. It just wastes my days. I am seriously looking for beauty and sunshine. For the rest of my days! I highly recommend it. 🙂

Very good approach George. It was bad enough with the CBC getting so Olympic saturated – they paid big bucks for the rights – but when I realized how much the elementary schools had used this as an educational opportunity, while ignoring the Media Literacy aspect of the whole thing, my knickers momentarily knotted. Then again i could just be climate change & the polar vortex. 😀
