What if Wednesday: Dreaming Cat

Dreaming Cat

The drowsy cat dreams

Lost Ulthar

Antediluvian Aegyptia.

There reigned the Jasmine Queen

in Lost Calico,

Where the amber spires

Rose above amethyst steeples.

The Maidens of the Moon

The Music of the Purring Mountains,

Her  Cheshire King laughed

the cold Winter Sun .

  2. Wowzie, Joseph. That’s good, really good! I actually know little beyond the adventure of Boba Fett, etal. And don’t recall much of that. Charlie no longer plays Star Wars games. I love the poem and the cat! 🙂 I’ve been lost too. Ashley told me last week or so that you returned. I’d asked her where you were since I hadn’t heard from you. Hope all is well! 🙂

Thanks very much George. I have been thinking about you – I am still trying to get caught up with posts & commenting. The winter tunnel has been intense for everyone this year.
My health is reasonable – just found out I will need to deal with a cataract , Considering the other eye is not work the most effectively, I will have a bit of a bigger blind spot than usual. 😀

Thanks very much. I mashed up a bit of Lewis Carroll & H.P. Lovecraft. I’ve recently been listening to Poetry Please on BBC4. Besides providing inspiration , takes me back to my University days, not to mention my teaching-daze, when I was immersed in ‘LIT-TER-AT-CHURE’ . 😀
The Arts & Culture shows on BBC4 are very good.
