This must be the worst part of winter, when the snow no longer falls and starts to melt with all the accumulated dirt and rubbish starting to show in a soggy underfoot suburban landscape. Another side of winter that we Down Under never see.

Yes – the scenes that happen between the Christmas cards & the Easter cards. It is worse in the larger urban centres.
