Two eggs squared
in the pot –
Boiling, boiling, boiling hot.
The timers broken
The shells are knot.
Crackled the clock,
“Boiling, boiling, boiling hot.”

Exactly how long do you boil an egg to get soft boiled? When does the timing start? Hard boiled is easy put them in the water turn it on and let it come to a boil and leave them for ten minutes or until you remember you put them on in the first place.

My trick is to make hard boiled eggs for my wife. I will inevitably under cook them. If I try to make soft boiled for myself they turn out hard boiled. There must be some type of quantum Schrödinger principle involved. 😀
