Seeing them both together actually gives more information than just one alone. I needed the B&W to recognise the features and put them in place before going back and connecting with the colour one. Interesting 🙂

A basic rule of Mass Media is that different media construct reality & alter information based on their codes & conventions. Technically switching from B&W to colour images alters the emotional content. In this case I went beyond colour, by altering details with layer outlines. 🙂

I prefer the second one. The colours are just a bit too vivid for my world in the first one.
