Science North – Creatures 2

In Flight

Continuing our family excursion to Sudbury’s  Science North , where we explored the worlds of science, technology and nature. The  F. Jean MacLeod Butterfly Gallery has close to 400 free-flying butterflies and more than 200 exotic plants. Some were at rest, most were in flight. It was easier to catch a shot when they were at rest – flutter shutter.

  1. You should make a trip to the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara. They have some wonderful specimens for photos

Thanks. Have not been down to the butterfly conservatory in many a year. Stopped heading down that way after both my parents passed away. keep thinking we might make each year, but other things come up to take precedent. Try to create new memories to link to the old. 🙂
