Found on one of the streets in Elliot Lake Ontario, a unique piece of carving that makes use of the natural environment. The street is actually the same one mentioned in the post Spring Green

  2. We have a large, dead tree in our back yard with a base like this, and we can’t afford the cost of having the whole thing removed. We Could probably afford having it cut down this far. I’m not a wood carver, but I’ll bet I could think of some creative use for what remains of the trunk! Thanks for the inspiration!

Most welcome. Glad to inspire. Bet the whole project will generate many a punny post before you are done. 🙂

      • Interesting aside: I had always referred to my blog as “punny” until someone replied that she didn’t think my blog was “puny” (meaning “small or insignificant”) at all! After that I always inserted a hyphen: my “pun-ny” blog.

  3. Had a comment…read the ones above and totally forgot what I was going to say.
Oh well, I think that is wonderful what they have done with the tree stump. It can always be a work in progress…Don’t you think?

You can always add more to that piece. ……… I guess for a moment the comments had you stumped. 😀

      • By the way…I took your hint and had a look at “Penny Dreadful”. Of course, I am now addicted to it.

Fortunately media addiction and the distributing of addicting media have not yet become a concern of the Harper Crime Stompers,……… yet. We still have relative media freedom. 🙂
