Surreal Thursday: St. Elmo’s Hand
As many of you are aware, the famous & mysterious stained glass window of St. Elmo’s Hand, which resides in the Church of Fiengle’s Cove in Nova Scotia, has been much in the news of late. There is much speculation on how the window was created and about the unusual properties of light passing through it. As noted, Professor Palindrome has been able to locate a much earlier illuminated print of St. Elmo’s Hand in the Abby of Fischnottin in the Duchy of Grand Fenwick. Similar questions have arisen over the nature of the illuminated print , as to those of the window. Efforts to find further examples of St. Elmo’s Hand are underway. Perhaps in time Professor Palindrome will succeed where others have failed.
