These are parts of a garage door, dating all the way back to 1957, insert ironic smile here.  An antique-steampunk sensibility raises the aesthetic appeal, and makes some of  us ( with longer memories & experience)  feel less like rusty relics destined for a scrap heap. Don’t you feel exotic ?

We age into the fine patinae of coils and rusty nuts & bolts – mounted in the gallery of glorious wonders & curiosities. – “Just imagine, they grew up with B&W television, film cameras and land lines. The comic-books were on pulp paper and mail was hand delivered to the door ! ……. And newspapers and dairy milk ! ……..They had milk from cows, not almonds ?!” 😀
