My mum always told me it was bad luck to put boots and shoes on the table! ….. several generations on and I still believe her!

Especially if there is food on the table. 😀
I suppose the companion rule of not having a hat on the bed goes back to when a hat was more than a cap or an outdoor Tilley Endurable and it could suffer real damage if you sat or rested upon it. 🙂

At first glance that top shot made me think it was soldiers gear and that was what was left of him. (I know, I went to a dark place.)
Then it occurred to me this was hikers gear and someone was getting ready for an adventure.
Either way, no boots on the table.

Interesting interpretations. The boots were unexpected and hence the shot. Liz & I were over at the high school. Liz’ puppeteer & theatre troupe

will be working out of the drama room on the Tuesday evenings and we needed to get some things set-up.
We also dropped in to the co-op construction class to get some advice, those tables are in that room. 🙂
