  1. The scenic view of this place is beautiful. They are breath taking. They make me wish I was there instead of just seeing them as they were

  2. Ah, I can smell the lake air! Really. I know precisely that smell. I love it in early morning. I used to go with my dad in the boat early in the morning to check the “trot” lines on Lake Lure in the mountains of North Carolina where we vacationed every summer. I’d forgotten that until I saw your gorgeous images! Thanks for the memory, Joseph! 🙂

Most welcome George. 🙂 So glad to kindle the ember of deep memories. Colour & smell are keys to our deepest memories. We were down by the old beach & trail a very short time, very wet & messy, but I managed to get quite a few shots. They will be distributed between the two blogs.

  4. The pop of colour in the last one was a nice surprise. I was about to ask where the fall was and then it was there.

I used this sequence to convey the how the pale mist hid & revealed the fall colour. 🙂
