The mist with the bright coloured leaves is quite the contrast. It brings to mind the TV show “Twin Peaks” .

Many thanks. Twin Peaks is coming back limited series will air on Showtime in early 2016. David Lynch and Mark Frost will write all nine episodes, with Lynch directing. Frost has emphasized that the new episodes will not be a remake or reboot but a continuation of the series. The episodes will be set in the present day, and the passage of 25 years will be an important element in the plot.
Kyle MacLachlan is presently playing Skye’s father on Agents of Shield – most theorize he is either Dr. Calvin Zabo ( The Hyde) or Maximux The Mad, thus paving the way for Marvel’s The Inhumans movie.

I will look forward to the “Twin Peaks” series. Do remember how cutting edge it seemed at the time? I confess to being a fan of “Agents of Shield”. It’s funny but I never got into any of the Marvel comics and the characters and story line. That means I don’t know anything about them and that the TV and movies are always brand spanking new. For some reason I love them. Flash, Arrow, Iron Man. I’m hooked on them all.

There was an interesting article explaining how Twin peaks was the fore-runner of the trend to cinematic serial television series. The form is especially effective for noir and science fiction/fantasy style narratives. This plays into the comic book superhero genre.
Current level of special effects are finally making it possible to create a more sophisticated production that emulates the experience of reading a comic super hero adventure.
From the business side of things it has created some changes in comic book publishing. I explored some of this in regards to Disney/Marvel on my Media Literacy blog.
