Boy that first view screams Freezing Cold!

True, but It is all in the colour. 😉 The warm tones in monochrome or a natural colour with the bright blue sky give a a total different emotional response both in the photograph and the real environment. In the photograph it can appear colder and harsher than it is. Then again, the bright sunlight and blue sky can suggest that the day is warmer than it is actually is. A mild day like today’s -5 to -7 looks about the same as one with a windchill of -33. It is preferable to mistake the temperature in a photograph than outside the door before you step out. 😀
