The Shoreline Turns to Fluid Waves

Shoreline Turns to Fluid Waves

Ice thins, recedes back

Shoreline turns to Fluid Waves –

Spring takes flight above.

Shoreline Turns Fluid

Thinning Ice

Thinning ice reveals

winter tracks dissolving down

to lake’s memory.

Thinning Ice Distance

Thinning Ice Shorline Colours

Shoreline colours turn

fluid, runs up towards sky –

ice cracks gentle smile .

Shoreline Turns Fluid - People Gather

Ice thins, recedes back –

Shoreline turns to fluid, waves.

People gather, gaze –

across open water waits

Winter white parchment’s farewell.

Oh yes, ice water for sure. It amazes me how the birds can stand on the ice or splash in the shallow water.

It may disappear quickly this week – 5 degrees above the normal temp will have us at 16-18 degrees Celsius most of the week. Hovers just above zero at night.

The whole symphony – words and images – capture the mood beautifully.

      Thanks very much. 🙂

We are very much in transitions now – moving quickly with odd hiccups in temperature.

BTW Only realized this when I was working on that last photo. There is a fellow out running ( in shorts). On left in background by the highway. Spring is here. 😀

It wasn’t too warm and there was a bit of a breeze – needed a heavy jacket and chapeau. I would be running for the house. 😀
