Thanks. It is funny how a quick shot taken on the fly can lead on occasion lead to a whole series of variations. Initially, I thought I might get a one good monochrome & one interesting colour version. my son was just about to head home after his week long visit. Just finished packing the truck and we were in the midst of hug-byes when I snapped the photo. 😀

      Thanks Ashley. 🙂
And a special thank you for visiting, liking and commenting on so many posts on the two blogs.

      1. I’ve changed how I visit blogs, Joseph. I’m subscribed to so (too?) many now. If I went one by one through all the email notifications, I would be on the computer all day. Oh, wait! Sometimes I am on the computer nearly all day! Apart from that I find it kind of nice to get a big dose of any one blogger in one go. I especially do this with blogs that require a lot of reading, because I actually prefer to read from paper than from a screen, so I wait til I can concentrate properly on reading the reading blogs. Mostly, when I’m online I’m in a visual mood. Make sense?

Very much. I found subscribing a bit overwhelming for that reason. I try to have a small group that I visit frequently and then a second group that become a Netflix of blog post binging. I find the two groups become a bit fluid and some blogs shift from one group to the other for no clear reason except a loss of keeping track. Fortunately I have no meaningful social life beyond the internet . 😀

As to the reading of length text on screen, I also think that for many the process is very different than reading printed text. They are not the same medium. That is why I have tried to incorporate images and text ( prose &Poetry) and have also recently experimented more with multimedia composition on Implied Spaces. Not sure if it helps or hinders readers, but it is something that the digital space of a blog post opens up to self-expression & constructing a message. 🙂
