He was decked. He fell down, lifeless as dried leaves in autumn .
Well, what do you expect after they hauled him on the carpet like that ? Took him totally by surprise.
Sad really, he arrived all decked out like a late summer bouquet, ….. ready to do the catwalk on the deck in the sunshine.
Well it is hands on deck now. Get the brooms. Those outdoor carpets can get pretty seedy looking after the wind whistles a tune.
It’s that time of year again.
Nothing lasts forever in this world, and that fact is never more apparent than it is in the Fall.
So true. Good time for a Canadian election – time for a change. 😀
Already? I’m not ready. Your pictures just make me want to sit in front of a warm fire.
Well keep in mind in our little piece of ( somewhat northern) Canada the temperature was 26 degrees ( that’s in Celsius for any non Canadians passing by ). It is going to get cooler and drop to the 20s . The temp is supposed to be mid teens .
The changing colour and falling leaves has more to do with length of daylight and amount of moisture. Our lawns are lush green because of the recent rain.
I must admit I am not looking forward to short the grey days that seem to overcome the skies of November. My light sensitivity becomes morose at the thought of it. 😀
I’m sure
🙂
How lovely they look on the carpet.
Thanks. Outdoor carpets gather interesting acquaintances. 🙂
