Watch for Bears – Egress

Watch for Bears Egress

Very shortly before I took these shots on Saturday afternoon,  a mother bear and her cubs were passing through the lane way. Must be Elliot Lake  Ontario.  You can tell by the mix of urban & natural environment, …… and the slope of the roads and sidewalk. All roads lead up/down.

So what is street art and public space ?  By composing a photograph,  has this scene  become piece of  Street Art in terms of either content or form ? More importantly what do the bears think ? Even more importantly,……. where did they go and what is that sound right behind me ?

Thanks. Yes, quite bold considering the time of day and this is a central part of the town business section. Fortunately there was not a great deal of people activity – that may have been part of the boldness. The lack of activity was not such a great thing because Elizabeth and her special needs theatre group were trying to raise money.

Thanks very much Lemony. I’ve tried to emulate some of the old style colour saturation using a combination of setting adjustments on my imaging software & plug-ins. 😉

  6. Perhaps they went to the local to philosophise about street art over a beer… 😉

Cubs are too young even for mead. More likely to go and check the bins behind the Golden Arches for a Big Mac or a Medium Jenny – whoever got stuck dumping the garbage in the bins that day. 😀
