What place is that, Joseph?

Medical reception room. We had an early morning family doctor appointment (8:00). As we went into the appointment the other patients were arriving along with the rest of the staff.

I thought it was something like that. It doesn’t really look very welcoming.

That is what happens when you go monochrome noir – with the colour and all the emotional content it conveys is removed , the setting is stark & unfriendly. I also chose empty space rather than space filled with human activity and interaction. That choice was that difficult we were among the first to arrive. Most of the reception staff who start at nine showed up, along with patients, right after I took the shot. The energy and social interaction jumped to 100.
