Many thanks for your observations & assessment. Very much appreciated. It was an overcast wet day, full of intermittent gusts as the temperature dropped. Just days away from snowfall. I was going for the off kilter moody transition that comes in mid to late November. They were taken with my Nokia camera-phone.

Yes – November s grey gauntlet run towards winters white occupation. 🙂
It id the basis of the Northern Ontario Gothic tradition. Similar to Nordic Noir but a very creepy surreal magic realism element.

Yes, definitely a setting for a mystery. Who murdered Colonel Cluster for an all expense vacation to a nice Caribbean resort ? 😀
