Before Spring officially arrives, some parting shots of Winter’s remains being ground up and trucked away. Just before the above normal mild weather swept the snow into rivulets of tearful goodbyes, the town finally arrived to grind the snow embankments into trucks. The haul will melt down elsewhere, saturated salutations to Spring seeping into the soil .
Layers of Winter
dreaming cold crystallized dreams,
Spring wheels down the street.
We are about to get some snow. A hold up on Spring. Sigh!
Our temps are around zero, so a bit of light flurries/rain/whatever. 🙂
The necessity for that grinder says it all
Helps with the sight-lines, but the snow really melted down shortly after they came through. 🙂
it’s amazing how deep it is.
The odd reality is not in the last ten years our accumulations have diminished. There was a time when they had to come through twice in the winter to cut at least some of the snow banks. You feel like you were driving down hallways on some streets as the banks would be level with the top of the vehicles. We still will get heavy dumps of snow, but the seasonal accumulations are much less.
Wow!
First day of Spring across Canada. It all depends what you are accustom to. 😀
