She’s Waiting for the Pony Ride
She’s waiting for the pony ride,
Blue pink smile, less in solitude,
More in anticipation of time’s ride.
She’s waiting for the pony ride –
Pink blue miles, going around the clock,
Full of excitement that gently ambles on grass covered rounds.
She’s waiting for the pony ride.
Smiling eyes, framed in pink blue tomorrows,
Waiting to travel beyond yesterday’s horizon.
Note: I don’t often get a chance at street photography – small community, everyone knows you and your uncle’s hiccups. This little lass waiting for the pony ride is the child of one of my past students ( time passes, as so do students ).
