Thanks. The poor thing was infected and the woodpecker had started working on it to get the bugs. Hydro workers had to cut it down because it was near the power lines. If you look carefully the safety rope and the first branches coming down in the second image ( near top of tree – five stories up). 🙂

Very cool! I love the angle on the second picture, it kind of puts me off balance.

The original shot was wider; I was trying to capture the action on the ground and in the tree. Cropped this and the other shots to emphasize the tree over the action of the cutting and climbing. 🙂
