Garden Cat – Textured Winter

These two compositions  were used as part of a larger composition on a post Implied Spaces .  It is part of my exploration of Asemic Writing , which arose from the creation of textured textures using my daughter`s writings and drawings.

These are really different Joseph, and simply very beautiful. Quite at odds with some of your work 🙂

Meant to add that I really like the white outlines on the second image.

Many thanks. The cat got left in the garden and was in the snow. The leaves gathered around the wire base. Because of the mostly white, it was easier to modify and blend layers and textures. Will post a monochrome to show more of the nature snow surface. 🙂

Ohhh, I just saw that post and thought ” it’s 3-dimensional and I never knew that”. Yes it certainly would have made it much easier to use blend modes.

Thanks. It was an interesting composition – I was using my camera phone and the cloud cover was flat grey. The result was better suited to either a tonal monochrome or some texture blending. 🙂 That is my excuse anyway. 😀
