Many thanks Derrick. Mix of precipitation and fluctuating temperatures in late afternoon created some rapidly changing scenes. 🙂

Fluctuating temperatures in very late afternoon created some shifting conditions. Warm air was creating fog from the snow layer. The rain/drizzle was freezing on contact to various surfaces. I opened the window and took shots through the screen. Some were very sharp and some were very interesting. 😀

  3. This morning was a little surreal for me! I woke up to find a complete wall of white where my bedroom window is. We are 30 floors up so I a had to assume it wasn’t snow. My windows were frozen solid with thick white ice. None of the other windows has any ice on them. I have a heater on them now and have been cleaning up the melting water. Then I came to see this while I waited for more melting. Why didn’t I take a picture?!? I’ve never seen anything like it and it really was kind of pretty. Why didn’t I take a picture of it?!?

Well, being 30 floors up and having the window covered in ice could reasonably produce a bit of high anxiety that left your creative impulses frozen in its track. 😀

You woke up in an opening scene to the science-fiction thriller, Raging Zero -“Ice Storm on the 30th Floor !”
