The Doll in The Wall

Upon the discovery of The Doll in the Wall, Dr. Ignatius Walter-Jons was trembling. Here was the evidence to validate his theory about the last days of Lost Vegas . Not only was the artifact proof of the Simulacra Epidemic, it also linked the event to The Singularity Wave of 2047. Furthermore, the wall itself showed signs that the “Children of Yig” virus must have established itself in the region within a couple of decades following the city’s demise.

His colleagues praised Dr. Walter-Jons’s accomplishment. His research and the new evidence shed light on a dark area of human history. It was with great reluctance that they returned The Doll to the Wall, but it seemed like the best thing to do,……. after they found their esteemed friend’s bare arm bones & skull covered in peculiar small teeth marks. Curiously, they never did find the rest of his remains. However, the whole affair did prove the old proverb true, ” What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”
