He-who-dwells is seldom home. Does not care. Cleaned out the forest closest to the property line last year. All the young thin trees in the central grove are now leaning outward without support and seeking the sun light. Rather surreal – one does not know whether bears or wood spirits will emerge. Had the young yearling bear a few seasons back , so perhaps Dryad or Bugwayj’inini is next. 😀
Mountain Ash/Rowan are reputed for repelling bad spirits/witches – so there is some benefit. 😉

The other side of the fence is the neighbour’s backyard. Because of tree roots and branches the fence is also bendy and will need to be repaired.

Many thanks. Had to cut some out. Weight of branches shifted and now remains on the neighbour’s side of the fence. 🙂
