Journey into a realm of possibilities. Step through a Steampunk Star-gate into the what if’s of history. Turn the dial of disbelief and lift the throttle of your imagination. Perhaps you will discover Atlantean Artifacts Revealed, such as the famous Atlantean Bull Mural.
We may find our way through an Atlantean Portal and discover the secrets of Leng and Hyperborea. Step through the portal, if you dare, and visit a surreal shoreline and mystic seas.
Wonder at the what if’s awaiting you and go beyond the field you know.
Nice work e. I really like the last one. Beautiful colors and surreal feeling.
Thanks Walter. The shoreline image came about a few years ago. I recently made a few small modifications before layering it onto the etched metal plate texture.
I like the Atlantean Bull mosaic.
Thanks. That image originally started as an abstract that was going to include another image, much like the third image in this post. As I worked on the wall, I realized the repeating pattern was building into a face. With a bit of tweaking and experimenting it became a stylized Minoan bull.
Your blog is quite intriguing. I plan on taking a more in depth look at your posts on history and art.
Very nicely done, indeed!
That last one almost makes me feel weightless! Take that, gravity!
🙂
Thanks ! The scene incorporates four photographs. The main one is a Dominican sunset. The floating tree combines two tree in an fluid bubble. The foreground beach are actually macro photos of a tropical bird (feathers). The rest is digital effects or inter-dimensional beings. My memory is a bit hazy on that part for some reason.
wild.. really out there.
Thanks Sheila. The sixties are not dead, they re-incarnated into the digital age. 🙂
I really like that last image
Thanks for your comment. Virtual tickets to this beach are still available; they come on a Möbius strip. 🙂
Ha ha! You make me laugh so much, elmediat!
Glad you enjoy. It seems to bring a sparkle to your eye. Since you appreciate my twisted “Canadian humour’, you may enjoy, News from the Front Lines.
It is my puntastic metaphor opus. 🙂
